Postage and Packing

We aim to despatch and deliver within 4 working days for all orders received by mid-day, an email will be sent on despatch. Contact us immediately if your order does not arrive within the stated time-frame. There will occasionally be delays when a product proves to be very popular, in this case we will contact you to give an estimate of delivery time. Orders are delivered by UK mail and DHL euro express or 1st class post depending on weight. Next day delivery and gift wrapping services are available online or by calling us on 01305 257258. We do not offer a guarantee on deliveries through couriers and can only refund if delivery fails to be on time through a fault of ON THE TABLE LTD.

We charge a flat rate of £4.95 per order to all areas within mainland UK, charges to other European destinations are shown at the checkout. This charge is waived if the total order value exceeds £100. All charges will be shown on your shopping basket.

We also send to UK Highlands & Islands, NI By Surface, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Guernsey, Holland, Ireland(south), Italy, Jersey, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden. Charges are shown at the checkout.

Outside of these areas, or PO boxes and BFPO please email or call 01305 257258 with details of product and address and we will quote a price.

Please note, when we can we re-use quality boxes and packing, using bio-degradable and recycled material always ensuring the highest standards for safe delivery.

On The Table does not accept liability for any errors and omissions and reserve the right to change information, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services.

Returns Policy 

If for any reason your purchase does not fulfil your expectation please email or call 01305 257258 and then return the items to us in a saleable condition within 14 days with a copy of the invoice number and your contact details and reason for return we will refund your product money. It would be a good idea to get a certificate of posting and please ensure your parcel is secure. Returns to:

Checkout Payment

Prices shown are in UK pounds and include UK vat at 20%. Please remember the postage and packing charge of £4.95 will be added at the checkout unless the total order price exceeds £100 in which case postage and packing are free.

To purchase we must have all the requested information. Your Billing address must be the same as that registered for your card and we need a genuine delivery address in the UK.

Credit and Debit cards are debited before items are shipped. Once your card details are accepted we will confirm your order and then inform you of despatch by email. You must check that the details are correct as soon as possible. An invoice or despatch note will be enclosed with your order.

Security, Privacy

All transaction information passed between ON THE TABLE Ltd and the SAGE PAY Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the SAGE PAY servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information. SAGE PAY will take your credit/debit card details and validate them. You will then be returned back to our website to finish the transaction. The Information we collect is only used by us lawfully and within the Data Protection Act 1998. For this reason the only credit card information we keep is whether your transaction is successful or not.

Pricing and VAT

All prices are given in British Pounds (£) and are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rate of 20% and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the Website. VAT Registration No: 916923213. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus any applicable delivery charges.

Miscellaneous

Your contract for purchases made through this web site is with On The Table Ltd and the sale of any product will subsist between you and On The Table Ltd only when an e-mail confirming that it has received payment in full for all the goods you have ordered. That acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time On The Table Ltd sends the e-mail to you (whether or not you receive that e-mail). This confirmation e-mail amounts to an acceptance by On The Table Ltd of your offer to buy goods from On The Table Ltd or a 3rd party supplier that is engaged on your behalf by On The Table Ltd.

It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order. Anyone caught wilfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and consequently any dispute arising from usage of the site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
